Here is some good development from the Karnataka Cinematographers Association. A unique website to live up to the standards of present day is becoming possible from the special initiative taken by state award winning cameraman S Krishna.

He was speaking to this correspondent at Sun Castle Beach resort. The website is called ‘Namma KCA’

This is the website in English but in the later days he would bring it in to Kannada language. All the members of the Karnataka Cinematographers will be enlisted with details. The latest news around the cinematography world will be discussed with great cameramen like GS Bhasker, BS Basavarju and others.

At the time of ‘Namma KCA’ inauguration S Krishna is instituting an award in the name of yesteryears cameraman DV Rajaram. It is Rs.1000 annual award to the achievers from S Krishna.

On many of the developments not coming to light S Krishna is making ways. KM Vishnuvardhana spent all his award money to his colleagues recently. Camera assistant Venkatesh fell down while working ‘Jaanu’. The medical charges were taken care. When Venkatesh was asked to take rest for two months KCA collected funds to give Rs.25000 per month for two months to Venkatesha.  Venkatesh is back in Krishna’s ‘Drama’ of Yogaraj Bhat.
